Is Aikido? Did you help in a way?

Aikido is helped in a situation of life or death and if I find that Aikido I can help the cause I want to learn self-defense along with my other two options are Wing Chun and Okinawa Karate / Kobudo. Please tell me you are more efficient in the streets. Thank you

I had some experience in Aikido and Aiki JiuJitsu (which is very similar because they were mainly of Aikido techniques). I would say that can work in self-defense, but we must be highly qualified in it. It takes a high degree of skill to operate. It is very complicated. Movements can not natural. They have to learn and anchored in you, which is a slow process. All training will take years to be effective. It takes a lot more than other martial arts to achieve efficiency Basic self-defense. Once it reaches this level of efficiency which has a central main weakness, which is groundfighting. If you can Aikidoka get a return with no training on what to do. If you are skilled enough, they can be answered in your arsenal of Aikido, is possible. Is very low in this area. If these things are well with you, then maybe you can take Aikido. You must accept a martial art of their strengths and weaknesses. I noticed it is the Aikido. Karate and Wing Chun has the same weakness as in Aikido groundfighting. They are not trained to fight on the ground. Therefore, on an equal level. However, karate and Wing Chun to take much less time to learn used for self-defense Aikido. These two arts are based on the momentum that comes more natural to a person. A strike is a convenient and tried to stop an attacker if done correctly. Therefore, these two arts have an advantage in this way. I would consider between Wing Chun three. Wing churn is good in fighting style. It is fast and powerful. It is a fighting style complex is likely to bring many of the attackers in self- defense. Indeed fast, with strikes of karate. These are straight lines.
